Compress drive to save disk space

It is not possible to increase the size of your storage but you can compress your data to save your disk space, this feature is available in NTFS partitions only...
(NTFS=NT File System)
If you have a FAT or FAT32 drive, it can be converted into NTFS by Executing the following commands in DOS.

for converting Partition X type::

convert X:/fs:ntfs

Compresing data in NTFS

* open my computer
* select any drive(drive with NTFS format)
* right click and select properties
* click on general tab
* select "compress drive to save disk space"
* Apply and OK
Your data isn't modified at all.It is completely safe.
